    Join Sanctum Studio to create giant sculptural lanterns to light up the 2022 Warrandyte Festival. Bring the family and work together to produce your illuminated creation under the guidance of local artist and Sanctum Studio artistic director, Lachlan Plain. The theme for this years festival is, ‘together again’. Sanctum Studio is based in Banyule and managed by husband-and-wife team, Lachlan Plain and Jasmine Powell. As well as creating giant puppets and spectacular productions for clients such as White Night, Moomba and Melbourne Museum, Sanctum Studio works alongside community groups and schools, creating public art, sculptural lanterns, giant puppets and picture storybooks. Workshop: When: 10am – 1pm, Sun 20 Feb 10am – 1pm, Sun 27 Feb 10am – 1pm, Sun 6 March 10am – 1pm, Sun 13 March Where: Warrandyte Neighbourhood House, Level 1, 168 Yarra Street Links: https://www.sanctumstudio.com.au https://www.lachlanplain.com/ This is a free session. All materials, tea, coffee and healthy snack provided. Wear old work clothes. Festival: When: 7 – 10pm, Fri 18 March , Sat 9 March The lanterns will be installed around the main stage as a backdrop to the musical performances on the Friday night.
