Digital Mentors

Part of the Be Connected Get online programme.

The Be Connected programme helps older Australians get online. It provides a series of free lessons, from learning how to use a mouse to shopping online.  These lessons are available through an online portal and face to face classes.  Warrandyte Neighbourhood House is offering face to face classes to the community for free and we need volunteers to help us do this by becoming Digital Mentors.

You do not have to be an expert in computers to help.  The lessons are pre-written, the main requirements are patience and providing sympathetic support to people learning new skills.  If you are interested in becoming a digital mentor, we have a training session on Monday April 26th, 10 am – 3 pm at our centre.  You can book into in the training on this website or give us a call on 9844 1839.

We’d love to hear from you.
