Abstract Acrylics

Learn how to create modern, vibrant, and textual works of art. Local artist Myra Carter will guide you through the process from blank canvas (or paper) to your own original finished artwork.

Kokedama workshop

Koke’ ‘dama’ is the Japanese style Hanging String Garden that is a hot trend in indoor plants. A selected plant is encased in soil & moss and entwined in string, to create a living sculpture. Stacey Parapouras (Entwine Home Décor) teaches the technique in fun, instructional workshops. She will share her love of the artform, indoor plants and artistic flare. In this 2hr class you will make your own medium sized Kokedama, and learn how to care for your plant. All materials supplied.

Adult's  Drawing 

In this friendly class we relax by exploring and experimenting together and most importantly we have fun. For many this is a wonderfully freeing experience. This class is suitable for first timers and those who want to practise their skills. With Sabine Withers.

Paint N' Sip

Create your own beautiful artwork. Suitable for for all skill levels, including beginners. A fun, relaxing workshop with artist Graeme West. Using a pre-drawn base, everyone, no matter their level or experience will complete their own artwork to take home.

Sat 1 May, 1 wk 3-6pm $57  

Session format and what you will get:

  • Sketches of women will be done in advance for you on canvases to help get people started.

  • All paints and materials are provided.

  • At the start a brief introduction will be given on the steps and processes that will be used to create your own great art works.

  • Individual attention and support with step by step guidance throughout the 2 ½ hour painting session.

  • Support to build your confidence and explore your own preferred style.

  • An art work that you will be ready to take home at the end of the session.

Writer's Garden

This program offers a plethora of writing exercises to kindle your creativity. If you’ve pondered over giving writing a go, or write regularly but need further motivation, this program is for you. In a relaxed, inclusive and supportive atmosphere, we will learn, share and write.

Sat May 1st - June 19th, (no classes June 5 & 12). 6 wks, 10 am - 12 pm, $144.

Dressmaking

Sue Parker: Award winning Couture Designer and Dressmaker, Sue will guide you to make garments that suit you, fit you and that you will be proud to wear. Suitable for all sewers. Work on your own garments or for new sewers, or those seeking a refresher, make and finish an unlined skirt using a commercial pattern
