Consciously connected kid’s yoga. A fun way to build physical strength, health and well being. Establish a connection between the mind, body, breath and emotions to help build personal resilience. Uses fun techniques such as Teddy bear breathing. Jess is both a qualfied primary school and yoga teacher.
In partnership with EACH. For girls aged 10 - 14 years. A fun club where girls can try new things, make new friends and have fun. Activities include crafts, science, games, cooking, books. Something different every week.
A facilitated playgroup, led by a playgroup leader who is a qualified primary school teacher. Each week will be centred around a theme and include activities such as a story, art, fruit time, free play and songs.
8-12 years Design an ‘arcade game’ using a cardboard box and a variety of other recycled materials. We will cover the basics of electronic circuits, add lights, buzzers and switches to our designs which will be on display and ready to play for parents and siblings at the end of the course.
The cost of wiring, light bulbs, buzzers, switches and battery packs will be included in the course fee and the completed game will go home at the end of the course.
Follow Story Time at Warrandyte Library with a social play at the Neighbourhood House. Share a cuppa and a chat while your children play and make new friends. We have a bright room with lots of toys and fun activities. Wednesdays during school terms. Start with Storytime in the library at 11 am then head upstairs with us to the Neighbourhood House at 11:30 am. FREE (Note: will not run in January)
