MONDAY WALKERS

Discover more about your local area! You will be amazed at the range of beautiful walks there are minutes from the centre of Warrandyte.

Walk at a leisurely pace with a group of friendly people, who often have a coffee at ‘The House’ or the nearest coffee shop afterwards.

We have no official ‘leader’ for this group (it is very democratic) but there are several members who have been involved for the last couple of years who are de-facto leaders. There are also often walkers with extensive knowledge of our local flora and fauna, so it can be educational as well as fun.

At the beginning of each term, a list of walks around Warrandyte is drawn up. You can collect one of these from the House.

Whilst some involve a short drive to the starting point, they are all in the Warrandyte area. The list will indicate where the walk will be and where we leave from. The walks are usually an hour long and relatively easy. There are people with varying degrees of fitness involved so you will probably find someone to keep pace with you.
