COMMUNITY SINGING GROUP
(with Nerida Kirov)

Come along and discover that, yes - you can sing!
Lots of beautiful songs from all over the world; from Africa to Australia, from rounds to 3/4 part harmonies, original songs and lots of improvisation to free up the voice. This is an ongoing group that occasionally performs as the "Chocolate Lilies" - however, performance is not the focus or compulsory, just a desire to sing. No experience necessary.

CREATIVE WRITING
(with Dr Carmel Macdonald-Grahame)

This course covers short fiction, poetry, creative non-fiction and aspects of reviewing and feature writing. It includes many stimulating exercises, class feedback and discussion. Led by award winning writer and University Creative Writing lecturer.

POETRY

Jordie is an award winning poet and teacher who will explore the craft of writing good poetry. This is a class for those who have written a few poems and are at the stage of wanting to learn some techniques and develop their skills.

WIRE SCULPTURE
(with Debi Slinger)

Make something fun for outdoors or as a present for a friend. Using a variety of tools and types of wire, you will make a 40cm high human figure to start with and then discuss with your tutor ideas for the following weeks. Tutor can supply starting kit for $30, otherwise please enquire about material requirements at the time of enrolment.

RECYCLED JUMPERS QUILT
(with Susy Raz)

Make an original quilt/blanket for winter using pre-loved jumpers in an exciting and original way. Bring along 5-6 jumpers in colour and materials of your choice. You will need a pair of scissors, pins and a sewing machine. Class suitable for all levels of sewing.
